I'm on the latest build but i've noticed this issue has been in the builds for quite a while--simply, certain things that you used to be able to do interactively cause IPR renders to restart. I can't recall all the specific situations I've noticed this but in a render I'm currently waiting on, I tried to increase the max samples and merely clicking into the path tracer node (not even changing any settings), via the render globals, causes my render to restart.

Is this a bug or has something changed in the code that necessitates this now?

Hi Itsallgoode9,

Thank you for your patience.
We are unable to replicate this issue with Autodesk Maya 2025 and OctaneRender for Maya latest build.
The latest build works the same as the Octane Standalone when we change the attributes.
Do you happen to have any scripts or 3rd party plugins installed?

Please try resetting Maya by renaming the version or deleting the preferences and let us know if that fixes.

cheeers
Kind Regards

no scripts or plugins installed. tried resetting prefs but issue persists. I DM'd you a couple screen captures of the behavior

Hi itsallgoode9,

Apology for the late reply. I was on holiday.

Would you please share a quick video capture of this issue?

Cheers
Kind Regards

Hey Bk, I sent you video previously, which you responded to-is there anything new that's helpful for you to see? Looking at our messages, i did notice you mentioned you were running on Mac--I am on PC, if that makes any difference for testing the issue.

One thing I did notice tonight, which may or may not be related, is I have 2 UV sets on my objects...I notice when I click on any object in the viewport rendering it almost seems like its re-translating the scene every time I select something and I always get errors showing up. I haven't had time to test this at all yet but thought I'd mention it in case its somehow related.
