Hello,

We are planning to animate tiny characters like bugs, etc inside the house (similar to "Honey i shrunk the kids").
Do you recommend keep the scale true or scale up the house and the environment and make insects around 10-20 centiliters in length?

Thank you

Briefly, it depends on several factors, provided it's reasonably small:
- will the scale change or remain as set? (e.g. from "tiny" to human size)
- Is there much SSS based shading?
- Is the DoF rendered in Octane or in post?
and so forth.

It's always possible to test a rudimentary scene and see how viable the workflow is with all the factors at play.

The Kernel's Ray Epsilon is suited for situations like this.
