Hi,
I am trying to batch render from LOPS using the network render but it's not working out. It works on the view port, but not using Husk.
Which leads me to the next question, how do I export animated ORBX from Solaris? It is not working out for me. Octane Render Studio recognizes the file, the length of the sequence, and the first frame. But all the other frames are just rendering a black frame.
Thank you so much,
Network Render & ORBX export

Hi sidseed,
Thank you for the post.
Could you please confirm if you have enabled the Network render from OctaneSettings>Tools>*Show Octane Network Rendering* and connect the Render nodes?
It should be straightforward since we use Octane Standalone's Network render dialog..
For Orbx output, we need to change the Product type to *Octane_raster* from AOV Settings tab.
Then enable the *Export ORBX and Alembic files* from Orbx export tab..
Set the Override Output Image to *ip*, otherwise Houdini will save the black images..
And make sure to check the *Render all frames with a single process*
We have an internal ticket to simplify the workflow in future releases.
Please let us know if this works!!
cheers

Hi sidseed, sidseed wrote:Thanks for the feedback.
The network node is running, batch renders it just fine but it does not work In Solaris, it only works in the LOPs viewport.
Thanks for the post..
Are you using the Octane node?
Please use the RenderSettings node and make sure to connect the Render node via *Show Final Network Render* network render dialog.
The Option is under Octane>OctaneSettings>Tools tab.
Let us know how it goes!
