Hello everyone,

Being on Mac intel Monterey 12.7.5, after trying with a bunch of different versions mix :
  • - C4D versions (R23 / R25 / R26)
    - Octane plugin versions (2022.1 / PR13 / PR14)

Octane related tags remain empty so I don't have access to tag parameters. Here is an exemple with Octane Camera Tag :

Instead of this :

I just get this :

This is the case for every octane tags. C4D tags work properly. I am also working with Turbulence FD where there is no problem.

Do some of you already faced the same issue before ?

Thank you in advance !

Hi,
in general, this means that installation is not correct.

Please stay with C4D R25, remove any installed c4doctane version, download again OctaneX PR14 for your license, and install it from scratch.

Then please share a screenshot that shows both c4doctane directory opened, and the entire installation path, thanks:

ciao,
Beppe

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback.

Here it is :

(C4D_OctaneX_Studio_PR14.zip from Otoy downloads)

Precisions :
  • - c4doctane-R25.xlib and liboctane.dylib need to be mac-approved at first launch, which I obviously do.

    - Appart from this problem, I am able to run octane and even render an existing previous scene. Octane tags are just empty :(
