Both the standalone version and the new plugin are on Blender version 4.0. With the release of 4.3 that puts it three versions behind.

I'm having to post in the demo forum because I cancelled my licence and only have permissions to post here. I cancelled because I need features from the last 8 months of Blender updates, and there is no information anywhere about a timeline or roadmap for new Octane releases. This thread suggests the holdup is because of changes to autosmooth in 4.1? If it's possible to get an official response I have a couple questions.
  • When approximately do you expect there to be a stable Octane release that supports Blender 4.3?
  • Do you plan on a faster release cadence once this autosmooth issue is resolved?
I'm sure you guys are working hard on this but a little insight into where you're at would be greatly appreciated. I really want to keep Octane in my workflow, it produces spectacular results. The caustics alone are so far ahead of anything Cycles can do. Thanks for your time.
