Hey Paul,
It would be nice to have in the pop-up window to change a setting back to default.

Hi, yes this is a good idea, and applicable to all plugins and Octane Standalone too. At the moment you can get back to defaults by changing the node type to Disconnect, and then back to the actual node type you originally had. It is a non-trivial change, as there would need to be some smarts to determine if the pin is actually a value, or is another connected node. I can take a look when doing the next release of the plugin, but it may be a lot more difficult that it would seem.
