Need sharpening function, filter size 1.0 is still very blurry.

I render in 4k resolution but everything is blurry, at this resolution the detail should be visible!

Are you using any Octane de-noising? That can certainly reduce fine detail. Have you set up a simple test scene, like a cube with a UV test pattern on it, tiled very small?

no in 4k I don’t use noise reduction, I compare with the Corona and Vray, where at 2k resolution the picture is detailed, and in octane at 4k I see pixels and blur when zoomed in 5000 - 10 000 (sample) 4090 rtx

Here I rendered it, there is no post-processing, the file is original, at 4k it is very poor quality, you can’t even make out the structure of the floor pattern, it’s blurry

Those images are pixelated (not blurry), which is caused by Sampling mode being set to 2x2 sub-sampling in the first screenshot you posted.Elvissuperstar007 wrote:Here I rendered it, there is no post-processing, the file is original, at 4k it is very poor quality, you can’t even make out the structure of the floor pattern, it’s blurry
hi, maybe you can increase the F-stop value of your camera

If I'm reading your settings correctly, you are rendering 800x600 images and AI up-sampling, as well as using adaptive subsampling with 2x2 blocks. This is the sort of thing that is usually obvious of you do a stripped down test render like I suggested. In complex images, it can be hard to troubleshoot with so much going on.
What happens if you render at 4k native, no AI up-sampling, with "none" blocks in your Adaptive sampling grouping?
