I find the workflow for copying and pasting nodes doesn't work very well.

I use a Wacom tablet exclusively using c4d on my PC.

I can edit an Octane Material, and copy and paste nodes within that material using Control C & V.

However this doesn't work when copying and pasting between two different material node networks.

It works if I plug in a mouse and right click to choose copy and paste.

I thought holding control and using the wacom pen would give me a right button menu to do the same but it doesn't work.

It would be helpful if under the Edit menu in Node Editor we could have copy and paste controls.

Hello, right-click on any material in the Octane Node Editor and you will see a menu appear. In the list of options is Edit; this option allows you to copy the selected material (depending upon your selection, you can include any connected nodes as well as the target selection). To paste into a different material, just right-click in the Node Editor and choose Paste. This will then paste the selection into the Active Material.

Thanks, but I know that, and can do that with a mouse, but I only use a Wacom tablet, and was looking for a way to replicate how things work on a mac, i.e. holding control and left clicking gives you a right click.

I have programmed a button on my Wacom to give me a right click menu, that works ok for now.

Every Wacom pen has configuration panel where you can assign not only mouse buttons but more :

Thanks, I am aware of that, but I like to keep things really simple - I'm forever accidentally leaning on the buttons on my Wacom, so usually turn everything off.

My left hand is always on the keyboard for 1, 2, 3 navigation in c4d, so it would just be nice to be able to press control and left click to get a right click.
