Hi,
I was updating Octane to R7 release today but I cannot get it to load. C4d R2024. Version that was working was OctaneRender-Prime-for-C4D-2023.1.2_OSX.
It went through the usual permission request in Privacy and Security preferences which I clicked allow, then restarted C4d. It then gave me a liboctane.dylib can't be opened because Apple cannot check it...etc. I clicked "Open" but Octane still does not show. Tried a restart etc got no other prompts, just does not show up in C4d.
The version I am trying to use is listed here:

Any ideas?
Thank you!
OctaneRender-Prime-for-C4D-2023.1.2_R7_OSX not loading MacOS

Hi,
Probably you need to upgrade C4D to R2024.3..2, or c4doctane plugin cannot be loaded correctly, please go to your MyMaxon/Downloads page and download the update.
ciao,
Beppe

Hi there,
I'm encountering an issue when trying to use Octane on my Mac mini M2 Pro. Whenever I attempt to render, I receive the following error message: 'There is no CUDA device selected...'
Could you please guide me on how to resolve this?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
probably you need new c4doctane version 2023.1.2-R7, for mcOS 13.3 Ventura, or 14 Sonoma, and for C4D R25, R26, 2023, and 2024, native for M1/M2/M3 chip:

Hi all,
can't seem to get my version working either:
Working on MacOs Ventura 13.6.4 / Cinema 4D 2024.2.0 / OctaneRender-Prime-for-C4D-2023.1.3_R3_OSX
Deleted the older 'xlib' versions and left the 'c4doctane-R2024.xlib' file, allowed Octane in the Privacy & Security section.
What am I doing wrong and what could solve this?
(Could not open a new topic, don't know why so thought maybe reply on this one)
All the best,
Leroy
