DOF + Fog = black lines

Dof looks great

The new fog looks great

Do both at the same time and it all goes wrong, im getting thick black lines all over the place. Is there any way to combine the two without it going wrong? This is using the fog found in the camera imager > volume effects.

Hi,
thanks for sharing the scene.

It is a core issue, you have the same result also Standalone.

A workaround is to use the Compositor to add the Post FX Fog AOV on the Beauty, then add a Blur AOV on top:

Thanks, If it can work, would this be considered a bug in core? is there any logical reason it wouldnt internally be composited this way all the time?

Yes, sorry, forgot to say that I have already reported it to the core devs.
I'll keep you posted about the response.
