HI !
I would like to have some explanations, I have missed something. :-)

I made a torus knot
I made a plane and I exclude it from light id 10
I made a "fence" and I exclude it from light id 10 too.
I made a light with id 10.

why to the fence can make shadows on the torus knot if it is excluded from light 10 ?

Thanks.

Hi HHbomb,
select the fence > mouse right click > object properties > cast shadows

Hi Paride !
Yes I can do that on this scene but on other scenes it is impossible.
My question was : If the object is excluded from the light why do it generate shadows from this light ?
Is there is a good reason no problem...

Hi HHbomb,
I'm not familiar with your specific requirements, but you can also deactivate cast shadows directly in the OctaneLight panel.
