I'm trying to set up a cryptomatte with RenderLayer ID. I have these options selected for my output:

The render is generating two files, one with Beauty in the name and the other with Combined in the name. However, no cryptomatte EXR file is being generated. And the "Combined" one has no cryptomatte info in it, because when I import it into AE and apply the cryptomatte effect, it says there is no cryptomatte layer information.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong?

Further information...if I click "InstanceID", it will generate a cryptomatte EXR file for InstanceID. But it won't generate one for RenderLayer.

If I check all the cryptomatte boxes, I'll get cryptomattes for:

InstanceID
MatNode
MatNodeName
MatPinNode
ObjNode
ObjNodeName
ObjPinNode

Not sure why I won't get one for RenderLayer?

Have you enabled Octane Render Layers?

Yes I had but still wasn't working. But I ended up finding a different strategy to accomplish the same thing (rendering a LayerID pass and then using Keylight to key out the colored ID's I didn't want and then using the layers as track mattes in AE).
