Using world space normal maps

I've been trying to figure out a way to use a normal map exported from Gaea inside of Octane for Blender.
Problem being that its not in tangent space and I haven't found a solution in the material editor or anywhere online explaining how to use a world space normal map in the renderer.
I can of course in the meantime transfer the normals of a plane onto the terrain but I'd prefer to have a way that involves doing it inside of the material.
