Hello.
I am using Blender Octane currently on an RTX 3060-(6 gig) set to Optix..I have a scene that max's out at around 5 gig.
I tried rendering the scene out but the GPU runs at 100% for the first 50 samples then drops to around 15%.(I figured it was the usual memory issue)
Because of this I devided the scene up into 3 parts and render them on seperate layers so I'm rendering only a third of the scene each time.
It's made no difference at all the GPU still drops to 15% usage...Never had these problems in Cycles....Please help, I'm running out of hair!

Are you using adaptive sampling? I noticed when you have less area left to render GPU power also drops. Maybe that's the way cuda computes.SBTLINK wrote:Hello.

It can be bug with octane like they had before viewtopic.php?f=27&t=72487&p=367984&hil ... ok#p367984
Hey coilbook thanks for the reply.
Yes I am using Adaptive Sampling. I think I resolved the issue however, at least for now. I just copied and pasted my scene into another BLend file...this seemed to do the trick.
Must have been a corrupt file somehow.
