It has been a while since I've used Octane in Modo and today I upgraded the main Octane install and the Modo plug-in to 2022.1.1, so the versions match.

I have an issue with the Octane Render layout missing in Modo.

The layout button is there along with the other layouts, but it just opens an empty layout with the following error pop-up in the middle 'Tab with Tag' 'Not Found'.

I tried in both Modo 15 and 16.

Octane is licensed and works as I can open the Setup and Viewport from the top drop down menu. I just don't have the main Octane layout anymore.

How do I fix this?

Thank you.

As a long time user you probably already know this.

You need to delete your modo config (or move it somewhere else), then start modo to generate a new one.

On windows it's in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Luxology

This is just the way modo works. You are probably missing layout changes in the modo layouts too.

Thanks, funk!

That did the trick. I don't think I've had to delete my Modo config when upgrading Octane before.
