Hi,
I updated to 2022.1.6(R6), (i also tried R7), they work, but i cant seem to get the render node to work, it says invalid version. I downloaded the latest slave from downloads section, 2022.1, 2022.1.1 also.
Can you tell me, firstly if im doing something dumb, and if not, what version matches what?
Everything was working fine, but i came back from leave and suddenly the render node wasnt working, which is why i updated, so maybe something other than mis-matched version numbers, but im not sure where to start!
All advice appreciated!
Cheers
AK

Hi AK,
you need to install 2022.1.1 daemon in the Render-NBode, here is the link:
https://render.otoy.com/customerdownloa ... de_win.exe

Hey Beppe,
Thanks for the link, unfortunately, I hit the same issue. IPs are correct, firewall etc checked and no issue.
Ive not run into this issue before, the rendernodes are usually so easy to set up. Is there anything else I could try do you think?
Thank you for you help!

Ive been trying anything I can think of today, but nothing worked.
I have the latest plug in (R7), the latest render slave (from the link above), Ive released licences and re done them, Ive installed matching standalone on the render slave machine
I noticed there seems to be Octane Enterprise (I have this), and Octane Studio, I have the Enterprise plug in, but there is only a Studio render node, that I can see. Might this be part of the issue?
All help appreciated, The sooner I can get back to full speed the better!
Cheers

Hi AK,
the Render-Node version is ok, it is the latest one, but the c4doctane plugin is not the latest stable version based on the same 2022.1.1 SDK.
I need to see the exact version of c4doctane plugin installed, it must be of the same SDK version as the Render-Node, or Network render cannot work.
Please open c4d, then go to c4d menu Extensions/Console, (Shift+F10), and share a complete screenshot of the panel, or copy paste the default console output in your answer, thanks.

Ok, you are still using 2021.1.6 SDK version, so you need to install the corresponding Render-Node, here is the direct link:
