Opening projects created with 26.x versions and lower have incomptibile nodes:
– image texture nodes
- world output
- material output

Converter does not fix those issues.

These projects work fine in non add-on version.

Hello,
are these issues going to be resolved?
Moreover ACES is not working in Imager settings.

I can obviously not help with converting nodes, but I ran into the ACES issue with the imager in a another thread and got helped. maybe this gives you a lead:
viewtopic.php?f=32&t=81630&start=10 (last couple posts resolved it for me)

cheers

I know how to fix my projects saved in previous version but this is not an automatic solution.
On the other hand I can open projects saved in Standalone that has been created few years ago in older versions without any issues, same with C4D plugin.
If it can be done in other apps why Blender addon developers make it difficult?

As far as ACES issue is concerned this is a bug and it should be fixed.

I agree. Whether you want to use a custom OCIO configuration is up to you. But this obviously is a bug and needs to be fixed. And while the devs are at it, please make the Camera Imager confusion go away for the sake of simplicity.

Most nodes saved in 26.x and older releases are not converted at all.
