Hi,
What will be the proper way to export an Octane Proxy object that contains multiple objects (such as a group or assembly) if this is at all possible?
Or do I need to use 3ds Max's native Xref system?
Every time I try to export a selection of objects or a 'group' I end up either with multiple proxy files or just the first object of the 'group'.
Thanks for your help

Hi ofirgardy,
Octane devs will work on this issue.
Currently, would be:
-select objects
-'Save Selected..." as .max eg 'furniturePack1_org.max'
[Steps to edit / re-export:]
open 'furniturePack1_org.max'
select all
-convert all the proxies with 'Replace original'
save as 'furniturePack1_prox.max'
Then, in the main scene, you can either load/merge it, or load/XRef
I hope it helps.
