Hi all,

I'm using Octane Render Standalone to try to render cameras animated with Modo (currently exporting FBX).

My camera moves translate just fine, but the camera auto focuses on different objects throughout its move through the scene.

Is there a way to fix its focal depth? Or even better, is there a way to set different focal depths at different frame numbers?

I'm using Octane Standalone 2020.2 with Modo 10.2 v4.

I would love to work on some simple fly-throughs of my scenes, so any advice is appreciated!

Thanks,
J

Hi J,

There should be an option/checkbox to disable Camera Auto-Focus (as in Standalone, under the Depth of Field section of the camera "attributes" panel).

Ah! I didn't realize it might be that simple. I will see if that does it. Thank you!
