If I place octane tag on a spline I get 'Hair' properties tab with option to setup 'render as hair' but If I place the tag on 'tracer' this option is gone. What is interesting if I first place it on spline and set up my 'render as hair' properties and then move this tag to a tracer even though it is gone from preview it keeps all it properties intact and it is possible to see result on render. Is this intended to work like this?
ps. is there a better way to build geometry on native particles in c4d to render them out? this setup seems quite glitch'y in render results.

Hi,
the issue is caused by the MoGraph Cloner, if you temporarily disable it, and select the Octane Object tag, the Hair tab will be visible again: About c4d Emitter, not sure what is your issue, but the best way to use it with c4doctane is to use it as source geometry for a MopGraph Cloner in Render Instance mode.

about the glitchy part. I'm trying to use 3 emitters too create animation loop sequence of particle stream (in this case this is test scene for a project to render visualization of a air flow in a pc case). thing is when I use Emitters as a child of a Cloner the preview on a viewport is perfect but when I start to render it out the render result is loosing frames resulting in a jagged animation, it can jump even 20-30 frames forward and pickup where it should. If I place tracers under a Cloner this results in a much smoother render result but the same problem persists just with less frames freezing.
Have you tried to cache the MoGraph Cloner with Tracer?
