Hi - hope someone can help. I've got a moving car with a camera inside, rendering PathTracing with motion blur on. The camera is a child of the car, so the car shouldn't have motion blur.
Car has an Octane object tag, motion blur set to Transform/vertex.
The background motion blur is correct, but the render also blurs (to a lesser extent) the inside of the car. Pic attached.
Any suggestions how to get this to render correctly?
Using 2022.1.1-R2, with Cinema2023.
Cheers! Chris

Your setup nearly looks like correct. You need to put an Object tag over Car hierarchy and set motion blur to "Transform" mode. Then send the render. It should looks ok.

Thanks for the replies both - I've tried with just Transform Motion Blur and that has the same effect. Unfortunately I'm currently stuck with 2022.1.1-R2 for studio reasons - can't update Cinema to the latest and the R3 doesn't run with anything but the latest Cinema2023. Frustrating as maybe that's the fix.
Never mind - I used a hack, I made the car stationary and moved the environment instead, works fine that way
