Hello,
sorry if that question has been already asked, but i can't find
any answers on in the forum or the help section :
When I zoom in in the live viewer (with the mouse wheel), for example to check
some details in the rendering, the image is just been upscaled without updating its resolution,
it doesn't work like in the standalone or in the Lighwave and blender plugins.
I don't want to change the camera position or anything else with Alt+mouse buttons, just zoom in my image with
the render updating while doing so.
The lock resolution button will increase the native resolution but the liveviewer computes the whole frame then
and increase significantly the render time.
Is there something I'm missing in the settings ?
Thanks for your help
Olivier
Question about zooming in live viewer

I'm not sure what's the question but see image. You can zoom/pan render buffer without changing the resolution. Nr.2 is parameter of scaling. Mouse wheel is for ZOOM, MMB is for pan.
ALT+mouse is for ROTATE/PAN/ZOOM
CTRL+LMB=copy material
CTRL+RMB=paste material
SHIFT+LMB=select object

Hello Aoktar,
thanks for your quick response,
sorry for my late answer.
I made a qhick video of what i get on the Live Viewer on Lightwave,
as you can see we can just scroll in the canvas to check some details,
nothing is moving or changed in the scene, it's a bit like zooming in photoshop,
but Octane keeps updating the image, and then when you click on reset you go back
to your full frame.
When doing this on C4D, i just zoom on a pixelated image, no upres is been made.
Thanks again
Olivier

It's not same as canvas zoom. That's like have another camera and pan it without changing the scene camera. We don't have it
