Open Live DB not opening tab
Hi! I am having problem opening the tab of the "Open Live DB" in Octane because it doesn't appear, it's the only tab that doesn't open, for example if I click on the "Octane Node Editor" it appears inmediately, but not with the Open LiveDB.
Somebody knows what could be, or there is another way to open that tab?

LiveDB is not available in OctaneX 2022.1.
it will come back in future OctaneX 2023.1.

Has there been any update to the Live DB in Cinema 4D? I'm on an M1 Mac Studio and would like to access the materials. I thought it was supposed to be back in version 2023.1? Can anyone provide more insight?

sorry for the confusion, I'm definitely not a good prophet
LiveDB for Apple Silicon is still unavailable, also in 2024.1.x versions.
But, if you own a Studio+ license, there is a workaround!
It is possible to install C4D-OctaneX PR14 Studio for AMD in a different C4D version (like C4D R25 or R26), go to LiveDB, download and save the materials in an already saved c4doctane scene, and open it with M1/M2/M3/M4 version to import the materials from LiveDB to your scene.

Note that you need to select the Cinema 4D.app, press Command+I, to get the Info panel, and enable the Open using Rosetta option, in order to be able to run an AMD version on M1/M2/M3/M4 chip, and you cannot do anything with this version, only access and download materials from LiveDB in an already saved scene:
