RotX and RotY doesn't update the Live Viewer, making it impossible to work the lighting conditions. Power slider works.

Cinema 4D 2023.1 + Octane 2022.1
Solved by using ImageTexture node in the Environment Tag.
I was used to skipping it, but now it's a requirement for the Rotations to update the Live Viewer.

How can you change the Gamma if you use C4D's Bitmap else of ImageTexture for example?

You mean this? Power slider working, while RotX, RotY doesn't when I'm not using the ImageTexture node?
Hi,
please, always use an ImageTexture node before loading any kind of image into c4doctane:
https://docs.otoy.com/cinema4d/ImageTexture.html
Octane is a Spectral render engine, so every texture must to be converted to the proper color space before been used.
This is even more important for Lighting, and in particular for the Environment node.
Please press the light blue icon to automatically create the ImageTexture node: Then load inside it the desired HDRI. In this way you will be able to change the Gamma, that should be set to 1 for all 32bit image textures, and use the RotX/Y sliders.
ciao,
Beppe
