I've had some issues with renderings that i did in the pictureviewer that were scaled down like 10 times but inside a black frame that was the correct size of the image.
It's a weird issue, because if you cancel the render and restart it without changing anything, its just the correct size suddenly.
Its not correlated to the zoom level of the live-viewer i've tested it.
Its also kind of not a big problem because of the easy fix and it doesnt occur as much.
But its annoying as hell when you work on a project, render 10 takes on the slave-machine and come back to it hours later to find 1 of them to be too scaled weirdly.
Cinema R25 Octane 2021.1 R6 but that seems to go back to older versions as well as collueages tell me.

What about saved image size? Is it wrong in case? There cannot be wrong display else of having wrong size.

i canceled it before it could be saved, but it wanted to render for only 2 minutes instead of like 15, which the normal size would take.
so my guess is it would have saved exactly like shown.
next time it occurs i'll let it save and have a look, but this issue is hard to replicate, because as i said, when you cancel the render and restart it (without changing anything), the render is normal size again

So it happened again and the saved TIF has the size which was set to 3840x3200 but the picture appears to be scaled smaller to that frame.
its also cropped, so its not even correctly scales weirdly enough.
i cant share the image openly because of NDA, but if you have an email adress for me, im happy to send it to you for a look.

Send me it by PM in forum. It's pretty strange if you're talking about main buffer because save done from there and you should get to file what you see.Ilius wrote:So it happened again and the saved TIF has the size which was set to 3840x3200 but the picture appears to be scaled smaller to that frame.
