Stacking displacement maps - possible?

Hi,
you need to change the Displacement type from Texture to Vertex, then you can do whatever you want:

Can you stack texture displacement too ?leave2 wrote:In Modo's shader tree, I can stack displacement layers on top of each other...

Oh gosh, that's so fantastically simple. Thanks so much. Had no idea it would be so easy to do. Much appreciated, Beppe!bepeg4d wrote:Hi,

HI Beppe,
Hey sorry, I'm a bit confused - the displacements now only seem to occur at the Vertex points. That makes sense, given the name "vertex displacement", but is there a way to get it to still act like a texture displacement? I'm displacing a model with very few vertex points, so I'm obviously not getting any detail!
Am I doing something wrong?
Edit: subdivision level - got it!
