Hi everyone,

I have bought a license for Octane Render some years ago and just wanted to upgrade to the latest version to be able to use it within my main 3D software which is Modo 16.

However, on the Otoy subscription page there is the following notes displayed at the bottom:

Product specifications:

Requires a CUDA® 10 capable NVIDIA® graphics card.

I have the Nvidia Quadro M5000 graphics card and as far as I can see, it only supports Cuda v.5.2
Does that mean that I can´t use Octane Render anymore and I have to buy a new card?
Is there any other way to use my previous Octane Render version withon Modo 16`

Hey,

It's more about your driver version, you need v. 450 or above. It looks like your card is from the Maxwell line of cards so it should support it. Although it is getting long of tooth. :)
