Is there an easy way to convert Diffuse Material or Glossy Material to the Universal Material?
The reason I ask is simple. I have old setups from years ago. Set up in Glossy or even Diffuse Material coming from VRay models.
Now I'm thinking about redoing some of them. Maybe it's time to set them up from scratch with current skills in material creation. But it may not be necessary for all of them, and a basic conversion to the Universal Material will fit.
Material Converter: Glossy Mat --> Universal Material

Hi mbetke,
At the moment the only way is by converting the Vray materials to Octane again, this way you will have universal materials that you will apply to the scene.
