Spotlight

Is there a way in octane to create a spotlight esque effect whilst having it come from a circle/disc shape instead of the default pin point that an octane spot light has? Below attached are the effect I'm after which should be possible using the octane spotlight however it needs to come from a circle like in the image. It is possible to do in standard cinema 4d utilising the near clip function in the details tag, however octane completely ignores this field. Thanks.
