When a still is saved to "Mplay Snapshot" from Qt5, the color visibly changes. Here's screenshots where both Octane and Mplay are set to ACES sRGB, ACES REC2020 and ACES RAW.
Only RAW looks 1 to 1 in color. The other profiles have clear visible change in color. Please advise. Is there some gamma conversion taking place that needs to be set somewhere?

It depends on your OCIO and color correction configuration, but probably you need to disable all the MPlay color correction options and set its gamma to 1.0 to let it work in linear mode. If MPlay has some kind of gamma or color correction enabled, you are going to double correct your images.

Thanks,

By "disabling color correction" do you mean disabling / removing ACES from Houdini in ENV file?

Nope, it means that MPlay must be configured as "Lut and Gamma" with the gamma set to 1.0
