Hi,
I am coming from c4d octane and still a bit lost in Houdini and I dont know where I put what.
How do I setup aces please? Attaching a few images to see what I am after.
Many thanks!
Setting up ACES

In Houdini, please follow these steps:
1) You need to configure the OCIO environment variable pointing to your OCIO config file
2) The scene level OCIO options are available in the Octane ROP node, Output tab.
3) The IPR level options are available in the RenderTarget /mat HDA, in the Imager tab. Be aware that you need to select the ocio display name "ACES" even if it is the default option to let the HDA populate the views drop-down menu.
Hope it helps,
-Juanjo

Thanks a lot.
There is a tiny issue and I can't change to SRGB in rendertarget unless I open IPR and fiddle with the buttons a bit.

Hi, in case of a need, I'm linking ACES in Octane, since it's slightly different than "usual". It's generic, not specific to any Octane plugin, and would apply here.
I'm having the same problem as @yujunjoe.
Tried in
Houdini FX Version 19.0.383 Python3
Houdini FX Version 19.0.622 Python3
My ocio version is:
ocio\v4-ACES_1.2\config.ocio
I've set up environment variables for
OCIO
OCIO_ACTIVE_VIEWS
OCIO_ACTIVE_DISPLAYS
Tried in houdini.env, as well as setting as system variables (Windows 10) / both at the same time. Nothing works.
Any ideas?

Please, select the "ACES" (or other) ocioDisplayName. Even if your display name is selected by default, you need to select it to let the HDA populate the ocioViewName drop-down menu list. I'm still thinking about how to solve this issue.jamnique wrote:I'm having the same problem as @yujunjoe.
