the beauty pass looks fine but the refraction and emission are saved as super grainy in the OpenEXR file. all passes look fine in the picture viewer, just the saved EXR has this issue. it looks like it saves a version with just a few samples and not the final rendered pass.

hey, i encountered an issue several times now. the scene is just a plane with emissive material behind some glass spheres.
the beauty pass looks fine but the refraction and emission are saved as super grainy in the OpenEXR file. all passes look fine in the picture viewer, just the saved EXR has this issue. it looks like it saves a version with just a few samples and not the final rendered pass.

Which exact version of c4doctane are you using?
Please make sure to save in EXR(Octane) format, and to have installed 2021.1.3:
