Hi
i'm searching for a solution for my setup. The problem is as follows:
I am working on a project with a number of scenes. When i want to make a preview of a scene, the master or main machine is busy and my cinema license as well.
So i can't just work on one of the other machines while the preview is rendered. A second cinema 4d license is no option.
I also have three deadline licenses, but compared to the octane network rendering it is tedious to set up and also pretty slow. There are so much things to take into consideration in order to get the desired result.
Inside c4d you just start the render and all slaves jump in to help.
So my question (probably a request) is, how can i use the network rendering feature inside octane WITHOUT utilizing the master machine that started the job? The master or primary node will handle the job so in theory the slaves can work on their own. This way it would be a breeze to continue working while scenes are rendered.
Is there a workaround for that or is this a feature that could be implemented?
Cheers,
René
