I am not sure how to get a "layered EXR file out of my rendering.
I have created a Render AOVGroup with various AOVs in it (Denoised, MarID, AmbOCC etc) and my output is EXR 32BitFloat (Not composite EXR selected)
When I save image EXR from the renderview window my resulting EXr has only one layer in it
Tried the docs but could not find anything... I am able to get it in the standalaone but not sure why it os not working here
Thanks
As a matter of clarification... what is the AOV output group you obvioulsy can load the same AOVs into the add selections but what are they doing differently than the RenderAOVs
Thanks

In addition
When I ADD AOVs to the group then use the small arrow in the Rendersettings Ocatne tab
They are all empty ... do I have to store it in my local DB in order for it to be saved to the project.
Its kinda confusing :>))
Thanks

Thanks for the post.
To render a multilayer EXR output, we need to enable the *Save Composite EXR file* option in the RenderSettings>common tab.
We found a bug with *Don't save beauty pass* that prevents one of the AOVs from saving. (Please make sure to disable this until we fix it) The Output AOV groups is a new feature that allows us to composite the Rendered AOVs and Light mixing onfly!
cheers
