Hi,
how does Octane need the lens Distortion Texture to be like in Universal Camera? A grid doesn't work here. It is undocumented in the help. Any examples or screenshots?
Lens Distortion Texture Design

Hi ceen,
A quick play suggests that the universal camera distortion texture works like a standard UV remapping. If you give it a basic Red-Green UV gradient then you get the original undistorted image. You can use OSL or other nodes to do stranger things.
Here's an example that let's you smoothly blend between the standard camera view at the edge of the picture to a different zoom factor at the centre of the picture:
Shout if you need help doing something specific with distortions.
Cheers,
James.
