Hey everyone.

I'd like to imitate the way paint mixes in real world in Realflow.
In this example I mix a yellow and a blue color via a vertex map. The real world result would be a green color. Here it is a color that lies on a gradient between both RGB values. Is it possible to achieve this result with a specific way of multiplying / mixing?

Thanks,
David

I don't think it's same kind of mixing in CGI. Have you ever checked with standard renderer/etc... also? See...

Hello Aoktar,

no, no, I know. It's not a Octane specific issue. But I thought maybe there might be some method or trick to overcome this in Octane.

You can try composite texture node or some OSL script to make your custom mixer.
