Hello
Im having issues with Modo and Octane images as textures.

First of all I don't understand why you can't browse loaded images and use them directly as you can do with Modo render.
Sometimes even if a picture is loaded I have to browse it in the image node to reload it ---
Is there a simpleway to do this?

Other question: I bring some work at home so I use an external drive that store a syncronized copy of my content on the NAS.
Usually Modo on my laptop is setup in order to use that external drive as the content folder.
Now I have created some scene at home and then I have syncronized my folder with the studio NAs.
When I open the new scenes at the studio in Modo the pictures are loaded in the clip window of modo but in the nodal material of MOdo Octane they are missing and If I try to load them
it says that the filebrowser is driven by a channel and cannot be edited...

Is there something Im missing about Octane /Modo images managment?

Thanks

I am not entirely sure what you mean here. If you have a Clip->Filename plugged into an Octane RGB Image->filename pin, you can simply drag other clips into the schematic and plugin the Clip->Filename into the Octane RGB Image->filename pin to replace the image. You can also go into the Modo->Clips tab and rightclick the clip connected to the Octane RGB Image->filename pin and select "Replace As Still", and then re-plugin the still image in the Schematic to the Octane RGB Image->filename pin.

I just tried to reproduce this problem but could not. Can you show a screenshot of how you have the Octane material setup please? You need to have the Clip->filename plugged into the Octane RGB Image->filename pin, and when you re-link the images when loading the scene in Modo, the plugin should pick up the changed path.
