I'm using the latest stable version of Octane for Cinema 4D R23, 2021.1 03/11/2021
As shown in the images attached I get different results in Live Viewer vs. Picture Viewer.
The Live viewer appear much brighter and washed out compared to the Live Viewer, why is this happening?
Everything is set as I've always used, Camera Imager etc.

Octane is self-color-managed, in particular with its own "frame buffer". Picture Viewer, being from Cinema 4D if I am not mistaken, is Cinema-4D-color-managed. What probably happened is the two summed each other (more specifically, the transfer-function).
It is important to acknowledge that when exporting a linear scene referred OpenEXR (16-bit, beauty), none of this matter. It does when the export is display referred and via an integer file format (e.g. JPG or similar).
