Octane not working in Houdini

I setup Octane in Houdini. I'm a newbie here but as soon as I click on IPR or anything I get some pretty crazy error messages.

Any help here? I'm on 18.0.597 running OS X.

Sorry, what are your system specs? It is important to know if you have a Metal based mac, or an old mac with NVIDIA GPUs. Can you also please attach the houdini.env file to check your config?
