Hi people,
I want to up grade my current gpu to the new DX11 cards, but am on a tight budget. I want to get a gtx 560 ti and was wondering how it would compare to my current gtx 295 in terms of performance in octane....Should i stick with my current setup and wait till i can get a second gtx 560 to use the DX11 cards or can the two(560 and 295) be paired? Am about to buy octane render, but I can't untill am done setting up my rig.

You could probably mix different GPUs now (after octane 2.47).

For a comparsion of actual cards see:

I have no experience with the 295.

So you have two slots for GPUs?
I would think about a 460 2GB instead of the 560 ti.

An investment in an Octane license is worth it.
You won't regret.

The obvious is that which is never seen until someone expresses it simply

1x i7 2600K @5.0 (Asrock Z77), 16GB, 2x Asus GTX Titan 6GB @1200/3100/6200
2x i7 2600K @4.5 (P8Z68 -V P), 12GB, 1x EVGA GTX 580 3GB @0900/2200/4400
