Hello,
I was wondering if it was possible to export a VDB cloud from Octane with some sort of render pass which will leave it transparent?
Typically what I do is add an octane tag and assign an object and then in the render settings check off the layer mask. But this does not work with VDB's. Is there something that can have a similar result but with VDB's?
Thanks,

Hi,
vdb objects are not polygonal, so they need to be treated in a different way.
In the Render Passes tab in Render Settings, you can find several passes dedicated to Volume Rendering, in the Beauty passes section: ciao Beppe
