To start with I had to go back to Unity 2018 as the Octane menu doesn't show in 2019 or 2020.
After importing one of the Octane assets from the Unity asset store I opened the Octane settings window.
It showed me there is a newer version so I clicked the button to download and install it.
And the progress bar shows the file size should be 978MB but the amount downloaded got to 8TB before I cancelled it.
I tried multiple times but thee exact same thing happened.
Obviously it's not actually downloading 8 TB as based on the speed it showed my internet speed is not that fast.
Although I wish it was.
So as to my question whats going on with the installer, and is there a download for Octane for Unity that doesn't do it through the Unity app.
