I am currently on 2020.2.4 R2, with the following hardware/OS:
Windows 10 Pro 1909
Driver Nvidia 471.11 Studio
2 x GeForce RTX 2080Ti
MB Asus SAGE WS
ram DDR4 96GB
Intel i9-10900X
I have experimented more time, on different scenes, the same situation:
1) I am rendering correctly the scene in Picture Viewer
2) for some reason (f.e. enabling RTX acceleration,..) I want to restart the render
3) I have the CUDA 2 error (I have enclosed the log file)
4) Now I return to the same condition of the scene at point 1)(disabling RTX acceleration, for example), close and restart Cinema and also my PC;
5) from this point and forever is impossible to render the scene in Picture Viewer, and I receive forever "CUDA 2 error"
It seems, let me say, that something remains in memory (of my PC or in Cinema cache)and permanently linked to the scene.
So I ask what is the correct or suggested workflow procedure in order to recover from this error.
Many thanks.
CUDA error 2: neverending error. How to resolve?
