I often merge scenes and sub-scenes or copy materials as new and assign them to other faces. Sometimes material nodes will gain additional output nodes. I am not sure on which actions it happens. Anyway, having a material with 2 material nodes, both connected to a separate output node, one to the actual surfaces and one to an unused output node, leads to inconsistency on loading. I experienced it multiple times now that for some reason the surface assignment or output assignment, not sure which, has been switched after loading. The wrong material node is assigned to the output node which is assigned to the actual surfaces.

I'am not able to reproduce this error consistently.

Thanks, Kanne again for this.
Please let us know the sequences if it happens again!
We would try to replicate on our side as well.

Cheers
Kind Regards
