You have "Min denoiser samples" set to 10, but "Max samples" is set to 2, so I don't think the denoiser will start in this situation.

Im just trying this out and the denoiser runs (although it cant really denoise a 2 sample image well, so I'd set my max samples to 10).

Go to devices > device settings > and make sure "Denoise" is ticked for the card you want to do the denoising

NOTE: There is a bug in 2021 which makes the denoised output have a red "tint" at the moment too, so set kernel > white light spectrum = legacy, to fix it

this was just an example in a fresh scene but i had already tried different levels of samples and it's still the same

also i don't think those NR values do anything when 'Denoise On Completion' is checked?

i was wondering about that tint and was using IBL in my scenes

like i said above i did try other sample settings too and it was the same. Denoise is enabled for the card.

i tried a MODO reset (deleted pref config) and still the same

in general i just need to enable Denoising and view the 'Denoised Beauty' pass right? no need to set up AOVs or anything like that

Did you check devices > open device settings > and make sure "Denoise" is checked for your gpu?

I can't think of anything else that may be preventing it from working

Is denoising working for you in 2021.1 standalone? Are your drivers up to date?

Are you getting any octane log errors?

had a go in Archicad which is using the official version of Octane (not the beta) and everything is working as expected there on the same hardware and with the same default settings

image is denoised even @ 2 samples/px (for testing purposes) so the first example i posted should be valid

having another go at this and still no Denoising for me.

using Octane 2020.1 RC1 and the corresponding MODO plugin version.

RTX 3060 12gb (w/ latest driver)
W10

is denoising still activated the same way as before? and no need to set up AOVs right? just activate in the Imager settings then select Denoised Beauty pass?

see attached - 3060 has Denoise checked but Denoiser memory used is zero.
