Hello everyone,
1) Long time ago I've prepared a huge object library with octane materials in C4D content browser as a preset.
Today I made a collection of scenes by using those objects. After I added them to my scene their texture paths like preset://everydayObjects(octane).lib4d/tex/

but I realized that C4D or Octane pulls them from preset library and copy them into TEX subfolder. That's totally okay but after a period of time by adding and removing tons of scene objects that folder size currently became 5.5 GB. I removed all unused materials but folder content are not changed. And I don't know which one is used or not so I can't clear that folder.

I used "save document with assets" solution and tex folder 1.9 GB there but before change it I wanted to ask this here and learn whatever I don't know about texture management of C4D or Octane. Could you share details about this topic if it is possible please?Getting textures like this way is okay? Is there any other solutions for this etc.

2) Second issue is when I press "Send your scene and restart new render" button of Live Viewer I wait about 2-3 minutes. I think this is related to texture management. It is normal maybe I don't know but I'm loosing many times because of that. I thought that may be texture paths cause this and I've replaced all preset library paths of textures with TEX folder of the C4D document folder via Octane Texture Manager but this did not effect.

thank you

It may take very long time to search files if you have some filenames but not available in any paths. Especially if you have a lot of search paths with lot of files. Note this. Also there's not a special handling of unused files in a tex folder. You can use save with assets command to collect the used files.
