When I render a pass out (a Layer Mask ID) via the Octane tab, it renames filename_0021 to filename_RLMa2_0021
Any clues how to turn this off? I struggled to find documentation on it

Are you choosing the multilayer file option or the folders option for saving?

you can't turn off if you're using seperate files. Every passes will automatically have an addition to identify pass types. Why do you try to do?

Is it best to just use the same filename as the main render?
So, I would have filename_ for both the main output and the render pass?
