Since upgrading to octane 2020 from octane 4, we are no longer able to render xparticles via octane tags applied to XP emitters, they simply do nothing. All previous scenes are now broken and new scenes made from scratch do not render particles.
Steps:
Add XP emitter
Add cube
Make editable
Apply octane tag to emitter
Set particle as geometry and link in cube mesh
Hit render
No particles
Caching also does not make a difference

Current machine (but have tried other systems)

There is not a bug as mentioned in release thread. You need latest XP versions anymore. Or use older octane builds
