Change the limit in OctaneDefaults.py (c:\Program Files\Poser Software\Poser 12\Runtime\Python\addons\OctaneRender\OctaneDefaults.py)
MAX_NUMBER_OF_SCENE_POLYGONS = 25000000 is what I have set it to (line 17)

I have changed it to a higher number, restarted poser and it still shows me the same communicate... :/

Use the geometry out feature. Make part of your scene invisible in the poser hierarchy. Preferably the close-up parts. Backgrounds that are high resolution keep visible. And when you're done export the animation as a single frame into octane Standalone format. Open up that same file you exported in octane Standalone format. Add a geometry out node to the model node in the standalone node graph. It'll be labeled the file name you saved it as with a. Ocs.abs. just take the pick whip from that node and apply it to a geometry out note instead of the render Target node. And save the file. Inside a poser. Make everything that you exported invisible. And make the rest of the scene visible again. Apply a box primitive to the scene. And in the plug-in. Select that box and the materials tab and change the node type to geometry out. Then click the load file button and load the same exported octane Standalone file you previously saved.Tigersan wrote:I have changed it to a higher number, restarted poser and it still shows me the same communicate... :/
This method will also improve your render times.
Hope this Helps
