Hello,
I need to store my objects that has octane materials(around 1000 objects) into preset library. But if an object has octane material when I drag and drop to preset library it appears dark. How can I save them without dark preview?
If it is not possible I planned to use script to update their preview images. to do that workflow will be like below:
1) render all objects separately and save them with same name of the object (I will use scripts and take system for that)
2) drag and drop all objects to preset library
3) use a script to assign objects' preview images with rendered images.
But I could not find any preset library related script. So may be it is not possible I don't know. If I won't able to use script then probably the only way will be dragging all rendered images to library as well. So I can see image(rendered image of object) and object(dark preview) side by side.
